Marie brings her experience and expertise in setting up and managing international projects, business management and development, as well as in the 3 areas of expertise of EHESP and EHESP-International. With a background in ESSEC/Chaire ESSEC Santé and a master’s degree in environmental and social transformation, Marie has 25 years’ experience in healthcare management (hospital, municipal and integrated services), public health and ecological transformation of healthcare, in France, the UK and 10 developing countries.
She was in charge of management control and forecasting at the CHU in Reims, director of a private not-for-profit MCO establishment in Lorient; she managed a national sexual health program in England and NHS hospital contracts for Islington CCG in London, participating in particular in the integration of Whittington Health services and the development of pilot population funding. She has also managed several emergency medical aid programs for Médecins sans Frontières, in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
Over the past few years, she has been a consultant in the management and ecological transformation of healthcare, and has presented at around a hundred conferences to raise awareness of the ecological transformation of healthcare, as well as supporting various healthcare organizations in their strategic planning and transformation. She is a contributor to the Shift Project, a think tank specializing in the decarbonization of the economy, and is co-author of the report “Decarbonizing healthcare for sustainable care” (Nov. 2021).
