28 April-5 May 2024 – Exploratory mission on the training needs of health inspectors in the Democratic Republic of Congo and possible partnerships

As part of an initial partnership between the DRC’s Health General Inspection (IGS), the Kinshasa School of Public Health (ESPK) and EHESP-International, funded by the French Embassy in the DRC, Marie Kernec, Director of EHESP-International and expert in health service management, and Momar Faye, Deputy Director of Health Inspection at ARS Normandie and lecturer at EHESP, have conducted this exploratory mission from April 28 to May 5 2024.

The mission provided an opportunity to meet the teams from the IGS, ESPK and ENA, as well as a number of partners involved in the health sector, and to identify the specific challenges facing the DRC in terms of health inspection and the training needs of current health inspectors.
