Training system strengthening
EHESP supported the Centre Inter-États d’Enseignement Supérieur en Santé Publique d’Afrique Centrale (CIESPAC), a partner of the school since 2017, with AFD funding.
CIESPAC trains public health professionals from the 6 countries of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC). The support project, named PRO6PAC, included 2 components for the development of CIESPAC:
- Definition and management of a strategic plan for the institution
- Capacity building for CIESPAC’s team and teaching staff,
Expertise France is currently carrying out a third phase to upgrade equipment and infrastructure. The project led by EHESP began in 2020 and was completed at the end of 2022.
