Reinforcing hospital management training in Rwanda, 2024-26

Rwanda, 2024-2026

The 2-year Masters in Hospital and Health Care Administration (MHA) Program, developed by the University of Rwanda in partnership with Yale University, is currently being revised.

A team of experts coordinated by EHESP-I will contribute to the following objectives:
To co-develop the reinforcement of the MHA programme, in terms of content and pedagogical engineering.
Co-deliver live training to a class of 25 hospital management trainees, based on the enhanced programme.
Strengthen the training of trainers – This part will include a study visit to France (EHESP, French hospitals and university hospital centres, etc.) for Rwandan teachers and some of the students.

An evaluation assignment to launch the programme will take place from the 19th to 27th of October and will enable experts from the EHESP-I team to meet the Ministry of Health, the University of Rwanda team in charge of the MHA, various hospital direction teams and partners in the health sector.
